Myself and friend visited Siam Orchid last night and I can't say enough good about it. It is small but cosy. Warm and inviting. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was top notch full of flavour. The service was quick but you could tell a lot of care had gone into the food. Very reasonably price too. Will definitely be returning. Second time visiting tonight... Food was amazing as before. However service was more 3 star than 5. The waiter did not know how to pronounce the menu options, was brought out green Thai curry instead of red and also not given the option to order rice

Have known of this little gem for a number of years but as we're not local to the town, we haven't had the opportunity to eat here until now. Such a quirky little restaurant, split out on two levels. Food was absolutely fantastic (we had one of the set menus, starter sharing platter, four main dishes and a dessert each) plenty to feed us both with a little left over. One thing which added to the quirkiness, was being handed a pint glass of water (when asking if we could have some water at the table) 🤭. Certainly didn't detract from what was a thoroughly enjoyable meal.
