I’ve just visited the Archway Tavern and left quite disappointed due to the lack of pricing clarity. My first round was £13.30 for a pint of Estrella and a pint of Camden Hells – not unusual for London prices, so I didn’t question it. However, my friend went up for the second round and ordered a pint of Estrella and a half pint of Camden Hells – yet the price stayed exactly the same: £13.30. That doesn’t add up. A half pint should obviously cost less, and yet we were charged the same as for two full pints. It really felt like we were being overcharged, or at least that something wasn’t right

Alright - really nice looking inside, standard prices. I got a weird vibe even though this place was completely dead. Weirdly impolite, can’t put my finger on what was off about this place! Staff have a staring problem 😂

We were staying across the road and ended up here to watch the Calcutta Cup rugby. Great wee bar, friendly staff and good selection of beers and lagers. There was food available from a caravan outside that is brought to your table. Under 18s welcome until 8pm. This place would definitely draw us back to the area to stay/visit.

absolutely amazing venue- first time in in a few years and very pleasantly surprised. wonderful welcoming staff, big selection of draught beers and some live music as it was a monday which was a nice surprise! will definitely be coming back soon.
