Baked breakfast- hands down best brunch food in London. It’s giving shashuka in a rich tomato sauce with a heavenly mozzarella crust on top, which pairs so well with the lightly toasted dark rye bread. The savoury crunchiness of the bread contrasts nicely with the gooey, chewy texture of spinach-filled gnocchi. Holy moly it is the comfort food to die for after a hilly ride, just doubled my leg power for my way home!

Food Room in Highgate was our absolute favorite brunch spot during our last trip to London! It’s a small, cozy, independent cafe that is so beautifully and lovingly decorated. The whole vibe is incredibly relaxed - it felt a bit like stepping right into a scene from the movie Notting Hill. The service here is so incredibly warm and welcoming, and they have excellent vegetarian options. You can really tell that all the food is freshly cooked with love. You absolutely must try the scrambled eggs with spinach - super yummy! Also, their oat milk cappuccino was excellent.

The food was next level, best brunch I’ve had in a long time. The flavours and texture were great. Portion sizes good. Coffee was perfect, the oat milk was frothed amazingly. Basque Cheesecake was way too good. Bit of a wait but very very worth it. Thank you!!
