Lovely neighbourhood pub. Great atmosphere and plenty of comfortable seating. Great food, nice selection for a roast and polite service. Props for the half portion options! Everything was clean, I mean one of the cleanest pub toilets I 've used props for that haha.

We discovered the Lord Palmerston whilst cat-sitting for a friend, and it's become a firm favourite. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive, and there is a lovely laid-back atmosphere. There is a well-chosen menu and the food is tasty, ample and well-prepared. There is plenty of seating, in the front garden and the bar area, and a choice of tables at the large windows at the front, or in the snug, darker areas at the back.
