paul myers★Disappointing experience at Primo. The service felt very rushed, which made the meal feel far from relaxing. I ordered the £36 steak and was surprised to find it served with frozen chips, which seemed out of place for a dish at that price point. What made it even stranger was that the steak also came with potatoes and vegetables, making the addition of frozen chips feel odd and unnecessary. Overall, the food didn’t reflect the quality I expected for the price, and the rushed service only added to the disappointment. Sadly, not a great experience and not somewhere I’d be in a hurry to return t

Matt Bird★★★★★Primo is excellent. A little piece of Italy in a corner of Ashton. Been eating here for 3 years…staff, the buzz and then the food is excellent. The paste and the specials are always great. The risotto (esp the Primo Ristto) is creamy and so tasty. And then the more traditional meals of duck, lamb chops, the chicken (esp with wild mushroom sauce) and lastly the superb steaks - always cooked to perfection. Washed down with a fantastic wine list. And half the price of down south! ALWAYS EXCELLET. Well done to Francesca and the team. THANKS

After looking at reviews the 4 of us who attended could not have been happier. This restaurant is 5 star in every aspect. The owner could not have been more helpful before our visit, even going to the shop for balloons for our table! On arrival, the welcome was warm and friendly from the owner and all the staff, we felt at home in this cosy, well decorated and spotlessly clean restaurant. We all had 3 courses and all the food was of a very high standard an
