Great buzz, we travelled from Ireland for Scottish grand national weekend. Amazing staff, so friendly. We went there 3 nights and the staff remembered us every night and gave us a huge welcome. So friendly

Visiting family last week and strolled in on my own on a whim and almost immediately was met by some friendly locals I sat next to. Started chatting right away like we’d known each other and they kept buying me drinks. Not saying that will happen to you if you go but it’s exactly the kind of warm friendly atmosphere you want to find in a British pub. The two bar maids were kind and lovely. Wound up spending a couple hours with them and took away a nice memory. Can’t recommend it enough. Will make sure to go back next time I visit. Pictures posted.
