Sachin Dhanure★★★★I recently dropped in for a Splunk user event, and this pub is the definition of a high-energy London local. • The Best Bits: The location is unbeatable—right near Liverpool Street station. They offer a fantastic variety of beers and ales, and the overall vibes are great for a social meetup. • The Catch: It is a fairly congested space. By the evening, it became overcrowded with a lot of noise, so don't expect a quiet corner for intimate chats. Bottom line: Perfect for a lively round of drinks after work, as long as you don't mind a squeeze!
Viplaw Josalkar★★★If you’re attending a VFS appointment nearby and want the closest place to wait while your family is for appointment, this is the place. However bear in mind that they dont open doors until 11:00am. Nice and clean floor with good staff. Not sure about food as I didn’t order nothing. Just a pint. Prices are competitive with Fosters pint for £6.25.
1956gooner★★★★I have walked past this pub on countless occasions and today I finally went in. The exterior is not inviting but once inside things improve. It has a lot of wood panelling but the numerous windows give a lot of light. They had four cask ales and a somewhat limited whisky selection. I chose a double Buffalo Trace bourbon at just over £11, about par for the area. The service was good, quite friendly. I liked this pub, don't let the exterior put you off, inside it's really nice.
Farhan★★★★★A great spot near Liverpool Street. The atmosphere is lively with a classic British pub vibe. I enjoyed the wide selection of drinks, and the staff were friendly and efficient. It’s a solid place to unwind, especially if you’re in the area for work or travel. Would definitely stop by again.
