Ateeq Bashir★★★★★What can I say, I'm really grateful that they were very accommodating. I originally booked table 10, then asked for 15, which they changed, then 2 days before arrival I rang and changed the time, then the day before I rang to increase to 18. The day we arrived we had to wait around 10/15 minutes to be seated which is understandable considering it was a Saturday. Once seated to receiving our food was very reasonable amount of time, food was amazing everyone enjoyed themselves, even the Gluten free one and the 'fussy' one. Thank you for a good time. The pictures was only from my side of table wh
Ajanthiha★★★★★Stunning dishes all round, massive portions, super flavourful, and delicately spiced to cater a variety of tastebuds, as well as vegetarian & gluten-free options! I ordered the jackfruit kathal biryani that can trick a meat-lover into ordering veg, and a spicy kolkata chilli chicken which paired beautifully with the rice. Mango lassi was so refreshing on a warm day, with all the umami food we had.
Donovan Simpson★★★★★Really enjoyed my first visit to Saffron Street...I visited on a Saturday afternoon, I had a booking and managed to get a window seat...the service was very good, we were served in a timely manner and all food came in a timely manner as well...we ordered a platter which was around £30, the amount of food was really good, the lamb cutlets were extremely tender, they were exceptional (in my opinion) I will definitely visit again as j really enjoyed my first visit here, the atmosphere is pretty chill, it was pretty busy, but you could hear yourself talk, there wasn't any loud music being played,
asim Ibrahim★★★★★I’ve eaten in restaurants across America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and very few places genuinely impress me anymore, this place absolutely did. We travelled from Ireland for a marital dinner party here and the entire evening was executed brilliantly. The staff handled everything with professionalism and calmness, and the atmosphere felt warm, busy and full of life without ever becoming overwhelming. The food itself was outstanding. The chaat was crunchy, flavourful and perfectly balanced. The Chinese sweet and sour noodles and chicken were an absolute delight, packed with flavour without fee
