Andy Thorn★Three of us went in, waited for several minutes to be served/acknowledged, then when it was clear this wasn’t going to happen we left. It was very busy but there were several members of staff working (including one who pushed past at one point) none of which attempted to help, even if just to say sorry that we’re busy at the moment! So we went to the coffee truck on the seafront instead, the guy in there was friendly and seemed to actually enjoy customer service - and provided good coffee and cake too - we will go straight to him next time.
laura m john★★★★★Love Romilly's! ☕️ The coffee shop and Romilly's too. I live the other side of Barry town ans dont drive so I dont get down to the knap much unless its with my mum or my friend, and both shops are lovely decorated and all the staff are lovely. 🥙 Food is lovely and reasonably priced. ☕️🍰🥪I would 100% RECOMMEND the afternoon tea. The cakes and sandwiches are absolutely gorgeous and very filling. Writing this review as I have just come back from afternoon tea with mum for her birthday and it was lovely. Very pleased, and so was mum. Will be back again very soon. 🩷
Inspired4me2You★★★★Cute cafe with lake views. This cafe has all the feel of a welsh village cafe. Serving good coffee (best in Barry) plenty of breakfast and lunch options. Friendly staff. Bathrooms clean. Combine this with a walk around the lake. Plenty of beautiful white swans there and if you walk to the far end of the beach you will see the sea along pebble beach. Those who like a long walk or hike walk along the beach and up onto the point a high lookout over the bay. For those of you with children this cafe is near Romilly park. Just ask a local. Plenty of parking. Love your local guide- M♥️
Niki Richards★★★★★This is a lovely cafe. They have seating out front, inside but also a little covered area out the back too. Quaint and quirky inside. There is a good choice on the menu but we only wanted a sandwich. I had tuna and red onion, it came with crisps and home made coleslaw. It was very tasty. The tea was good too. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was nice. It's obviously a popular spot and I can see why.
