Had been aiming to visit here for some time. It was worth the wait as the food was excellent. Every dish was delicious & food portions spot on. The prices are excellent value for such great quality food. Servers were attentive throughout the evening & no delays in food coming from kitchen. We had Tandoori mutton chops & paneer Kathi roll for staters followed by mains of butter chicken, chicken bhuna accompanied by an excellent mushroom pilau rice & naans. Can't wait to go back with friends & family.

There is a very competitive market for Indian restaurants in Stirchley but honestly, Kolkata Lounge is one of the best. The accolades for Kolkata are truly deserved. My fiancé booked for my 30th birthday, we arrived a little early and were seated straight away. We had two cocktails which were made well with fresh fruit along with some poppadom's and dips. It's worth mentioning that the poppadom's were warm on arrival which was a pleasant surprise! We ordered starters, there is a great variety of options. I was meeting a couple of friends whom I'd not seen together since pre COVID. We went on a Thursday night which was just the right amount of quiet for us to catch up. The food was great especially the fluffy nan which was the perfect size for my lamb achari. Service was efficient but not overbearing. I think we overstayed our welcome as we chatted for an age after the meal but we were not pressed to leave. We all had a great time and Kolkata lounge was the perfect place to meet. I'll definitely go back!
