A really lovely cafe with delicious scones, very good coffee, and a really charming interior. We shared a cheese & chive scone and an orange & cranberry scone, to accompany our beverages, and that hit just all the right spots. The texture of the scones were gorgeously crumbly and although I don't often get savoury scones, I absolutely demolished my half with relish. Café Pastel is an amazing little hidden gem that Bath has to offer. This family-run café serves fantastic cakes and delicious food inspired by French cuisine. Everything is freshly baked on-site, and you can really taste the difference. The cakes and pastries are made with care and quality ingredients, unlike the mass-produced products you find in many places. We tried the scones, and they were outstanding. Had a little break in the Cafe Pastel #cafepastel. The cake was freshly home baked in French style. They very tasty and more impressively that they select the fresh flowers daily to decorate their cafe. It looks so welcoming and warmful. The owner Eddy and his wife were very friendly too. This cafe is simply the best place in Bath! The staff and owners are so friendly and welcoming; they make you feel like part of their family. We had scones and coffee one day and lunch, scones, brownie, and coffee the next day. Either sit outside in the sunshine or inside their bright and cozy room - you won’t be disappointed! The cafe is located in Abby Green, possibly the most picturesque square in the city.
