Cortado Cafe was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious — we ordered the Turkish eggs, and when I mentioned I didn’t want poached eggs, they kindly made them hard boiled for me without any fuss. My husband ordered the special breakfast and loved every bite. He said it had been so long since he had eaten so much and truly enjoyed a meal like that — and we finished every last bit! It’s a small, cosy cafe, but the vibe is just wonderful. The staff are so polite and welcoming, always smiling, and I think their warm energy plays a huge part in making the cafe feel so special. Absolutely loved our visit to Cortado in Bath. We were recommended to stop by for coffee after an amazing lunch at Ponte Vecchio, and it didn’t disappoint, an easy 5 stars from me. I’m pretty particular when it comes to coffee, but the latte here was spot on. Big shoutout to Jan, who made it perfectly and was genuinely warm and friendly too. Great coffee, great service, and a lovely atmosphere, I will definitely be back.

Excellent spot for brunch or lunch, with incredibly delicious food featuring authentic Argentine flavors. I highly recommend the Argentine sausage with chimichurri, the empanadas are amazing, and the scrambled eggs served with the sausage were exceptionally well prepared. The indoor space is small, but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality of the food. Great atmosphere and service, and it’s dog‑friendly both outside and inside!

Great cafe for food and coffee. As expected from the name, they do a great cortado - I’ve been in Bath for about 20 years, and with all the excellent places for coffee it’s hard to pick a best one, but I’d easily put this place in the top five. Slightly more uniquely to the rest, Cortado has empanadas on the menu, and I most recently had a Buffalo chicken one, which was excellent, and more inventive than the obvious basic option of just chicken with Frank’s Red Hot - there was a bit of blue cheese and celery, so really fit like everything you’d want from Buffalo chicken in a bite.
