Mark Deadman★★★★A warm welcome as we arrived, and the premises looked the part outside and in. Very much in keeping with the lovely looking square the building stands in. Reasonable prices and fast service were also good to see. The food and drink were nice and well received by shoppers in need of refreshment. I thought maybe the stainless steel tea service was not quite in keeping with the more traditional tea room feel, but when everything else is on point that is not really a deal breaker for me. They'd see me again if I was lucky enough to be passing this way.
D E★★★★★Had lunch here. The quality of the food was outstanding. Freshly cooked scones and lovely sandwiches. The cafe itself has an upstairs very romantic and older worldly. The cafe overlooks an ancient gallows tree and the dressmakers shop from Bridgerton. The staff are lovely kind and professional. A big shout out to Harrison who went out of his way to welcome us twice because this place is truly addictive. We will be back with our relatives ASAP. Go to this delightful place you won't regret it.
Nick Short★★★★★Lovely tea and food, reasonably priced in our opinion. Friendly service, tables outside and inside upstairs. Inside was full but anyone waiting for it seemed to get seated fairly quickly, but heard people mention it was hot upstairs. 1 loo available upstairs too. Be aware 10% tip is auto added on when you pay.
Donna Cashore★★★★★Ok. I didn't get The Bun....this time: but that's good news for those who don't want one, you get to hear about their incredible scones!! They are homemade by someone in the family and they are perfect: delightfully tender, wonderful flavour, and served with the classic clotted cream and jam. I thought I'd only eat half.... But nope! The tea is on point. The service is so warm and kind, you'll want to come back, as I will. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The glorious thing about sitting outside is that even in chilly weather, you get to gaze upon Bath Abbey as well as the famous London P
