Absolutely disappointing experience. The drinks looked good in photos, but the taste was bland and overly sweet at the same time somehow. The bubble tea tasted watered down, and the pearls were hard and stale like they’d been sitting there all day. The bakery items were even worse — dry, overpriced, and not fresh. One pastry tasted like it had been left out overnight. Service was slow despite the shop not even being busy, and staff seemed uninterested and annoyed whenever anyone asked a question. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality and at least decent customer service. T

Great selection of milk tea , fruit teas and other drinks. There are savoury and sweet pastries also that are fresh and delicious. Nice vibe and friendly staff.

Had a really lovely visit to The Whale Tea in Bayswater. The atmosphere is really relaxed and it’s a great spot to grab a drink and unwind. The warm taro tea was absolutely delicious — creamy, comforting, and perfectly sweet without being too heavy. The taro flavour really stands out and has that smooth, rich taste that makes it ideal for a colder day or just when you want something cosy and satisfying. Service was friendly and quick, and there’s a nice variety on the menu if you want to try different teas or toppings. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re in the area and a big recommendation fo

I ended up trying this place by chance. I ordered the brown sugar boba with 50% sugar and less ice. It tasted really good. The chewy boba had a nice flavor that reminded me a bit of maple.
