Very happy with our overnight stay for just £104. Nicely designed hotel that doesn't feel 'set dressed' even though obviously it's been interior designed. It feels like it has evolved in the way most homes do, something that's important to me. I cannot bear bland corporate hotel design no matter how luxurious; I like places to look beautifully and creatively appointed with a slight 'lived-in' feel. You shouldn't stay in an older converted building and complain if everything isn't covered in a fresh layer of paint. (Yeah, I know, some people would.) My test of a good hotel room is do I want to

Great location in the heart of Bedford town ,easy to get around ,great walks can be taken in the nearby park ,it has a good selection of local beer and ales worth the try ,book a table or just turn up ,plenty of seating inside and out ,good sized beer garden with parts under cover ,inside good vintage decor ,having the sash windows open provided much needed breeze. Bi fold doors also open up the Interior to the beer garden, parking for upto ten cars ,plus charging points for electric top ups .quite a few rooms to book to create the prefect weekend getaway . Food of a high quality recommended.

Great place to stay. Smart, boutique decor, situated in a tree line lined avenue one street away from town centre. Brilliant outdoor area beer garden, and excellent breakfast. Cannot fault.

Just been in for a pint of brewpoint lemon, in the happy hour. Lady bar staff charged £6.70. I asked if it is a brewpoint pint then in the happy hour it should be £5. Her reply was that it says excluding the lemon lager and it says it at the bottom of the notice board. I went out to inform her that it doesn't and her simple reply was "Oh ok". #Brewpoint, teach your staff to be empathic...... After review and feedback......still no correction on outside A-board
