The only reason I've given Rice Thai a 3 star review is the food is too salty, everything I've tried are really salty. However, I had to give service a 5 star because my silly husband has booked for a table of 5 the wrong week! But Rice Thai had accommodated for me and let us have a table in the street food part and ordered from the menu of the next door. The lady who served us was very tentative. I might give it another chance to go back and try the street food menu.

This has been our first time visiting this restaurant as we wanted to try more Thai food as we find it particularly tasty and healthy. We entered and straight away the decor called my attention, it was sober but classy at the same time, the right mixture, in my humble opinion. I visited Rice a few years ago and went back yesterday. The new dining room is absolutely lovely — warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated. It has a really welcoming atmosphere. We started with a generous portion of chicken satay. Personally, I think it would have been better if the chicken had been coated in the satay sauce rather than served separately. I’ve travelled quite a bit across Southeast Asia and spent a lot of time in Thailand, so I’m used to satay being served in a sticky, rich peanut sauce with crushed peanuts.
