We had our wedding here and it was the best decision we ever made. The staff and food was absolutely outstanding. It is a hidden gem in the heart of Belfast with plenty of character and charm. A special mention to Katie & Alistair for going the extra mile to make everything perfect for our big day they are so down to earth and are fantastic at organising. Came here for a late lunch mid-afternoon, just as the market was closing. The first floor balcony overlooking the market was lovely, but we soon learnt that it was easy to be forgotten there. After about 20 minutes I had to wave at a server inside before anyone would come to take a drinks order. Ordered the food when the drinks arrived, and then another long wait. Maybe it was a staff changeover or they were taking a break after the lunchtime peak, but everything was just too slow. Absolutely delicious meal - sea breem accompanied by interesting mix of vegetables which were beautifully cooked. and REAL chips. Good range of wine by the glass. Rather than have a dessert we opted for a cocktail (Expresso Martini) iin the relaxing bar area. There were few other customers which meant that the place lacked a bit of atmosphere but the staff were dly and chatty which was good.
