The friendliest pool to rent in Belfast!! We have recently booked a few lanes and the heritage pool, everyone in the staff was amazing. Belfast City Council should be commended for restoring this beautiful facility to its former Victorian glory. As well as the "Ice Box" there is another pool which is heated and the depth can be varied. I'm not a confident swimmer and prefer the backstroke. The new pool is around three feet deep, has a ramp and the heated water, makes me feel safer. When you leave the pool to the changing rooms, there is under floor heating pipes which makes it a more pleasant experience. Great equipment and staff. Only issue is with the lockers, half of them are constantly locked and then the rest need £1 coin to operate. Hopefully they’ll be replaced one day similar to the ones in Belfast city centre gym.

This place is amazing! A real hidden gem in East Belfast. A heritage centre which is so informative. It's a real glimpse into Belfast's past. We were impressed with the friendly and helpful staff who were so passionate about the history of the baths and took time to tell us about it. This is a must see for any visitor to Belfast and of course for locals too! Next time we will bring our swimsuits! Thanks for a fascinating morning out Templemore!
