My search for the best fried chicken ended here. Forget the chains and all the American based chicken shops blighting our towns and cities. This place is the real deal. An independent delivering ridiculously good food in the heart of Birmingham. I went with my wife and daughter on a sunny Friday afternoon. There was a small wait as the place was busy. I had the Bonehead Pilsner whilst waiting and it went down too easy.. The waiting staff were friendly and polite and explained the offerings. If you are a huge fan of good fried chicken, then this is a definite to try, forget the chains, this is a must do, reasonably priced and huge portions! Even though it was fried it was not greasy. The Chicken was tender and full of flavour. The gravy was flavorful and chips/waffles were crispy but soft inside. It's the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. Will definitely visit again! It's a small place and busy so I'd recommend reserving or be prepared to wait, but so worth it. We had a craft beer whilst waiting. The burgers were juicy and full of flavor, the crispy chicken wings were perfectly seasoned, and those waffle fries… honestly addictive. 🔥 And the best part? Best chicken burger in the region - no competition. Food is always amazing, a good selection of burgers on the menu, wings and sides as well. Really fun decor as well which adds to the cool and cosy atmosphere. Great location too, near the Alex Theatre and Brewdog.
