A proper Birmingham treasure! I can’t recommend Ju Ju’s enough. It’s tucked away just far enough from the main Brindleyplace crowds to feel like a real secret right by the canal. While the city views are great, the real reason to visit is the warm and homely atmosphere. It honestly feels like you’ve been invited into a friend's kitchen rather than a restaurant. The food is that rare kind of homestyle cooking where you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything is fresh and clearly cooked with a lot of love. The vibe is effortlessly "kooky" with a side of stunning waterfront views. Whether you're sitting inside under the gaze of a mounted unicorn head or dining al fresco as swans drift past, the atmosphere is cozy and contemporary. It’s women-owned and run with a personal touch—don't be surprised if the namesake, Ju Ju herself, pops by your table for a chat.

Fabulous place right on the canal. We had a seat by the window overlooking the canal. Food was delicious and staff really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back.

I hadn’t been to JuJus for a while but went today and wow - food was amazing, staff were amazing, everything was amazing. And Julia herself was such an attentive host and we all just felt right at home. (She even opened the restaurant early for my group!) Overall, just outstanding.
