I've been to countless gigs and events at Bootleg and it is a genuinely fantastic venue that punches well above it's weight in terms of quality of acts. Numerous bands that have played there have gone on to great recognition making it a wonderful venue for those "I saw them before they were big" stories. It's also a brilliant spot for promoting local talent. The staff are proper sound, and the drinks are decently priced with a good range for a small venue. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Saw the fantastic Boo Radleys here but the review is for the vemue. I've knocked a star off for the toilets which are not a gleaming example of British plumbing - could be better! The actual venue is pretty good. Sound is pretty good for the size and looking forward to returning. One stand out feature is the air conditioning - really excellent and catering for the menopausal gig goer - much appreciated.

Great music venue, saw when December Falls, venue is hot and sweaty but if you got large groups of people that's what you get. Freaking awesome atmosphere, great place bring on the next independent bands 😎

Good sound and nice choice of drinks at the bar, however there were too many people allowed in for the gig. Itxwas too cramped and the stage height is too low for the audience to be able to see the band unless you manage to get in early and close to the stage.
