Believe the hype!!! Down visiting Walsall and could not miss the chance to visit the highly rated George's Fish Bar. Service was efficient and very friendly. Menu rather large with very reasonable prices. Ordered a special - small cod, bonus banger, chips and peas plus a chicken tikka with chips & salad. The chicken tikka was fine, the chips sublime and the salad (massive portion) very good. The fish and chips were absolutely outstanding. Freshly cooked, good portion of fish and beautiful batter. Fabulous little chippy that is buzzing with staff working hard and cooking food fresh. They staff were all very friendly and patient with customers choosing from the array of delicious food on offer here. Everything we had was delicious. We will definitely be back again soon.
