I had a really great experience at this fish and chips takeaway. The food was excellent and freshly cooked, full of flavour and exactly what you want from a proper chippy. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the chips were hot, well cooked, and generous in portion. The new owner clearly takes a lot of pride in the business. They were extremely friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. It’s obvious they care about both the food and the customers. Overall, this is a fantastic local takeaway with very nice food and a warm, positive atmosphere. I

Fish in here has a strange taste and I can’t help but think that it’s not COD. Also shape of the portions of the fish is very boney and some skin. When we dined in the restaurant we were served the fish from the counter and it was there for a while and it was very warm. It was not very nice because we expected freshly cooked cod. It was very poor service.

A shadow of its former self. I lived in Boston 10 years ago and eagles was a great place to eat. With a restaurant upstairs and the quality was amazing. So I visited Boston today and rushed to eagles on my way home. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The cod wasn’t fresh and is now making us feel sick. The chips were cold. The peas weren’t even mushy peas I don’t know what they were. The best thing was the bread rolls and the can of pop. Such a shame. It was also expensive for all that disappointment. I’ll never go again.
