⭐ 1 Star I visited Costa Coffee with my daughter today as we wanted a quiet place to relax and talk about some important things before her exams next week. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The lady serving us was extremely rude from the start. I asked what flavours of frappés were available, and she simply replied, “Everything,” without offering any help or explanation. As I don’t visit often, I couldn’t remember exactly what I wanted and felt rushed rather than helped. To stress this review is for the Braintree town store and not Braintree Village. The store has felt very tired and run down for a while now, the frontage screams this. This isnt an issue for the staff members, but to whoever runs this establishment, especially with another popular coffee joint next door. I use this store sometimes only as I like Costa, and Braintree isnt inundated with other offers. I attended Costa Braintree for the first time Tuesday lunchtime. I was served by a young lady called Georgie who was superb, so polite and friendly, she was serving a line of customers both food and drink & although it was very busy was completely relaxed and made you feel so welcome. It was such a refreshing change to receive not just lovely coffee but fabulous customer service.

Very rude girl who was on the till today. Attitude problem. My brother had no syrup on this drink and it was cold so he took this to the till and the women took it off him with no apology and just poured a bit syrup over the drink even though there was some already gone from it and gave it back. They have no customer service skills at all. ALL STAFF HAVE MISERABLE FACES!!
