Thomas Morgan (Twm)★★We’ve used the Pottery Cafe Ewenny for around 8 years, often calling in regularly during stays at Trecco Bay. It used to be a real highlight of our visits to the Porthcawl area — a reliable stop for good, hearty food with generous portions and reasonable prices. Over the years, it became something of a tradition for our family, often visiting nearly daily and enjoying everything from main meals through to their puddings. Unfortunately, our more recent visits have been noticeably disappointing, and it feels as though the overall standard has declined quite a bit over the last year or so. The q
Joanna Griffiths★We visited Pottery Café Bridgend on Sunday 3rd May for a 2pm booking and were seated in the back room. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. After ordering at the till and paying for the food, we waited over an hour with no update, while other tables were served quickly via the waitress and tablet. We were eventually told our order hadn’t gone through due to WiFi issues—something no one mentioned during the long wait. I even had to go up and remind staff after 45 minutes. When the food finally arrived, it was lovely, but completely overshadowed by the poor service. There
Jackie Brydon★★★★★A great breakfast enjoyed by myself and my husband. Very friendly and efficient waitress. Made to feel very welcome. Would eat there frequently if we lived nearer but we were visiting from Buckinghamshire
Nicole Murray★★★★Food was nice enough, however we finally found a clean table with no food debris and sat down. I thought maybe it's been busy and they had not had chance to wipe them down. However during our wait ,which was acceptable, we were shocked to see that tables were being cleared and re-set with napkins and cuttlery without being wiped or cleaned. Staff need to be re-eduaced on food surface hygiene.
