So I used to live in Brixton and Maremma was always my favourite restaurant to go (it gets my Tuscan mother’s seal of approval too). In lockdown we would pick up their cook-at-home bundles and enjoy their amazing food at home. Unfortunately I developed a life altering neurological condition in my brain after having Covid which meant I could no longer eat or stomach most smells and flavours. I once explained my situation to the team at Maremma and they would sit me by the kitchen and make me the only dish I could have at the time (cacio e pepe) even though it wasn’t on their menu and they proba

I was very excited to come and try this place! However the portions are extremely small and on the pricey side of it. The food was good overall, but it lacked a bit of flavour, however the tiramisu was so good! I wouldn't come back, is too expensive for what you get. Do yourself a favour and try Artusi, in Peckham instead.

Absolutely first class Tuscan food made by people who are clearly passionate about it. Maremma is tiny and a little rough-hewn, but the quality easily rivals the big West End names. As do the prices, but that's fair enough for food of this standard. A fantastic neighbourhood restaurant for low-key special occasions or just a treat night out. Definitely worth booking ahead as it only has about 16 covers - but that's so they can put maximum attention to detail into the food. The open kitchen is right next to the tables, you see it all happen.

Utterly brilliant local restaurant serving pasta and other Italian dishes from the Maremma region of Tuscany (no pizza!). The staff come with an authentic Italian care for great service and the food is as beautiful as it is tasty. Have been a couple of times now and I couldn’t recommend it more. The mains are good enough to be enjoyed as a quick lunch or a Sunday treat-meal.
