Located right inside the Denmark Hill station building, The Phoenix is much more than your typical "commuter pub." The first thing that strikes you is the incredible architecture the high ceilings, exposed brickwork, and large arched windows create an airy and grand atmosphere that feels very special. It’s the perfect spot for a pint while waiting for a train or for a relaxed Sunday roast. Despite being in a busy transit hub, it manages to feel spacious and welcoming. Spent my Tuesday night out with friends who chose this pub. I’m not much of a drinker but my friends thought the drink prices are reasonable and I thought the service was great. That’s hard to find these days. Amia (hope I’m spelling it right) was amazing. She was helpful and polite and her banter kept us entertained all night! 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing pub! Food was delicious and the bar staff were so lovely! I met the general manager Cheryl so lovely! Any little problem I had she made me feel like it was important either way. The atmosphere was very classy and welcoming. It’s right near kings college hospital so I would highly recommend coming here for some warming food and drink.

I didn’t eat the food so I can’t really comment on it but it appeared to go down well. When we went there was some sort of quiz going on which is another bonus along with how gorgeous the place was. The staff were super friendly (more coming later) and professional and the venue is gorgeous, huge vaulted ceilings, moody lighting, flowers, outdoor seating the lot. But for me today and why this place is getting a review was the staff
