It's been a while since I dined at pizza express, and I am absolutely elated at how good this experience was. We were instantly met by a waitress who swiftly sat us down and gave us some menus, as well as explaining the current offers available to us. Came to Pizza Express with the fam today to try out their new £5 menu offer, and I’ve definitely got to say it was worth it. We ordered a Margherita and two Cannelloni; all freshly prepared and arrived very quickly. The taste was more than satisfactory, and the portion sizes were decent for the price as well. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and kindly guided us on how to use the app to access the offer, which made the whole process smooth and hassle-free. The waitress who served us has been lovely and was clearly doing her best. However, we've been waiting for nearly 2 hours for our food and we can see lots of staff just stood around doing nothing. In particular, the boys in the kitchen were all laughing and talking to each other and and barely moving. It really appears that the staff haven't been trained or supervised properly. Food was fine once it actually arrived, but overall just frustrating!
