CHRISTINE HARTLAND★★★★★I called in to this coffee shop yesterday lunchtime after shopping in town, and I am now wondering why I haven’t called in before on my regular trips to Burnley. The cafe was very spacious indeed with comfortable seating, all very clean and today and a lovely welcome from the attentive staff too; the w/c was easily accessible and to my delight had cruelty fre liquid soap for customers too,and the book reading/ swopping area was an absolute delight…… had I more time to browse, I would have ordered another coffee! The coffee and toasted teacake with butter and jam was the best that I have tasted
Claire★★★Called in for 2 Americanos to take away. Was late on a Friday just before they were due to close. The store was still quite busy, and I can see why, because the coffee is extremely good (and I'm a coffee snob). Toilets were clean, as was the store. The store is absolutely lovely and has an open book department where you can leave and swap books. I love that concept. My only issue with this store is that the service was slow, and it did look like they were packing up the sweet treats for use the next day (so just be mindful of this).
Maya Aro★★★★Hot chocolate was nice (rich and creamy without being overly sweet) and relatively priced. Service was good - one of the baristas (Molly, I think? They had some cool tattoos) was extremely sweet. Would visit again
Jess Taylor★★★Think they must be new but a young guy behind, never seen him before. We stood at the counter and he looked very miffed off that we were there asked him if they had any items we wanted and we got a look and a “dunno”. Don’t mind them being new but there’s something called being polite and having customer service skills, and a smile costs nothing! Lovely lady that served us after him though :)
