Great food in a really interesting building. Lovely staff. Recommend booking as it is fairly small and gets busy. Bonus if you love vinyl music they sell vintage singles and LPs. Haven't attended a live music session but hope to in the future. Set in a really pretty village. Parking is aling narrow streets so be respectful of driveways.

Super impressed with this place! Friendly welcome and the most mouth watering sandwich I have ever had. If I lived closer I'd go here daily! I'll be back! Thank you so much!

Only opens on select Sundays, visit the Pocklington Canal opposite, chat to the volunteers, walk a few kilometres and then cross the road and have a brunch. Inside and outside seating in the home of a local family. Plenty of interest in the large garden, veg and fruit. The large mint bed fills the air with aroma. Large teapots, fresh coffee and proper ice-cream. , You can park outside, but best to leave it at the canal head where the volunteers can keep an eye on it. Good value and a very unique experience.

Lovely little place great stop just a short drive off the dual carriageway on our way to wales. So much better than a soulless service station. Friendly, helpful staff, had the best veg curry I’ve had in a long time, we also had a soup and sandwich combo and jacket potato. Very good value for money. Even found a lovely foot path close by to let the dog off to stretch his legs! Will definitely visit again when travelling this way.
