Staff are helpful and friendly. Room is very good for the price. Large and warm. No wifi working in the room but managed with 4G. The pub has live shows until late, and guests can be noisy into the early hours. No sound insulation between rooms. However, it was a good price for a weekend room for two. Very clean and towels included.

Spoke to Sian about booking a table for a surprise birthday drinks and she was super helpful as they don’t usually take bookings just for drinks. When arrived our table was occupied, they also had kindly booked the pool table for us. As their was a slight wait the both tables they generously gave us £5. Would come again thank you :)

Warm welcome. Very friendly staff and the boss is great, nothing is to much trouble Food was excellent , piping hot , very tasty lovely. Well done the Hen House making it a lovely local pub with friendly atmosphere and to top it all they are dog friendly. Win win all round . FABULOUS 👌
