me and my friend visited this place recently and we immediately felt a sense of calm the second we left! it was such a lovely relaxing environment, with a beautiful garden out the back. love the colours, plants, artwork etc. just really beautiful. the only reason the food is 4 stars is because the prices are a little much for what you get, and we got a hot German sausage baguette which wasn’t as nice as the cold ones, and it wasn’t actually a German sausage it was just a hotdog really, plus not enough cheese and too much sauce. Anyway though, apart from that it was incredible! Will defo be com

I was visiting Canterbury and looking for a cute cafe to sit, relax, and enjoy breakfast in. This place fit the bill, lovely calm ambience, beautiful garden with lovely flowers, coffee in a bowl, and lovely staff throughout. I will be back next time I’m in town!

Delicious baguettes to take away. I had asparagus and cream cheese…do those ingredients even go together? Yes they certainly did…best baguette I’ve had in years! We also bought a bacon baguette which was delicious too. Sat and waited in the shop area for just a few minutes while our lunch was being prepared and the staff were LOVELY. Really wish I lived in Canterbury so I could go more often 🤣

Great little gem. Really cozy inside. I've lived in Paris and the quality of the pastries are as good as in France. Flaky and soft croissants, excellent quiches and great coffee. A must stop for a great breakfast or brunch if you are hanging around Canterbury.
