Merry “Merrycyclist”★★★★

A charming eclectic cafe along Butchery Lane, we enjoyed a light lunch of grilled Halloumi on a fresh green salad and a BLT with taco chips and small salad. Everything was promptly delivered, well made, and satisfying. The interior is somewhat funky… filled with very old worn furniture and Knick knacks. The main dining area is up a steep circular stairway and we were impressed by how the service staff navigated up and down with full trays.

Lovely cafe in the heart of Canterbury. The space inside is not a lot but there is a large covered terrace where it’s very pleasant to enjoy a meal or a drink. The food we ordered was nice, but the waiting time was quite long I would say (half an hour for some eggs). Nice cakes and teas too. I would stop again in a less busy day. Dog friendly.

Stunning view of the cobbled street and the cathedral. Yummy avocado on bagel. Amazing coffee. Cute decor with vintage toys, wooden tables and a big rooftop courtyard for the warmer days.

Well expressed strong short flat white. Tasty scone. Good roof seating
