Cleric Preston★★★★★We original were going to visit The Foundry on a Sunday during our visit to Canterbury. However as they stop serving food at 17:30 (last order taken at 16:45) on Sundays, we changed our arrangements so we could visit on a Saturday, and are we happy we did. We booked a table for 17:45, but actually arrived at 17:30, and were able to be seated. We ordered our drinks and food, both came within a very short time span. The food was delicious and filling, the only thing I would say is the mains could have been a little hotter, but this did not in any way take anything away from our enjoyment. The
Ed Wiles★★★★★Me and my girlfriend visited Canterbury and found this restaurant and it was amazing. It had a great range of both food and drinks, with the beer selection being incredible. A perfect place for dinner or drinks. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Howard Broadribb★★★★★My wife and I booked The Foundry Brewpub specifically for the Sunday roast and looking at previous reviews what I hoped would be great beer too. When the phone rang a couple of hours ahead of our booking I thought it was going to be cancelling our reservation, we were surprised to be asked if we wanted roast lamb or roast beef as they were so busy they didn't want us to arrive and be sold out - now that is absolutely AMAZING service. The roast were delicious along the two ales I had to accompany my meal. Great service and atmosphere too. Highly recommended.
Julie Smith★★★★★Fabulous food. Beers are great. Love that it’s a family owned and run business using locally sourced ingredients where possible. The staff are lovely even when they’re being run off their feet. Bought a gift pack of the gins to take home so we can sample their wares in Australia.
