I really like this place as a destination, while I'm out for a motorbike ride with one of my kids. They love the milkshake place! However, since the little fairground has gone, I don't think it has the same kind of appeal it used to. My kids are all to big for it now, but we used to bring them to it regularly, and it was great value for money.

I frequently cycle and occasionally walk along the path by the sea wall mostly on the sea-side, so that’s what I’ll be covering here. From the eastern end (the Point) to Thorney Bay the pathway is mostly wide enough, but when on a bike I quite often get stuck behind pedestrians, not that I find it a problem I’m never in a rush, the beach is there for all of us. Around 8am there’s often groups of ‘regulars’ and it’s a great way to start the day bidding each other ‘Good morning’ so if you’re of a mind to, why not pop down? Since the Environment Agency recently completed its Team2100 Revetment

I love Canvey seafront. Nice facilities with the cafe on site near the park area. The seafront walk is lovely, with plenty seating along the route, whether you want to stroll leisurely or just sit and relax. The beach area is just big enough and again has seating if you want to take your own picnic. Plenty carpark spaces though be prepared to pay by app which seems to be the thing now.

I personally think that the Canvey Seafront is excellent, especially when the coastal defences are finished. It's It's going to be excellent for people to visit plus. People will have the concord cafe to have fantastic views and refreshments and a relaxing rest , from walking along the coastal path
