All I can say is the food, staff and atmosphere were lovely. Between me and my partner we had 2 starters of crab and chicken tempura. Then mains of Yaki Soba noodles with duck and fried sticky rice with chicken. We also had 4 drinks which included 2 bottles of Sake. Everything was amazing, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food came out quick and hot, showing it was fresh. I would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning again.

I had been told to try this place, because apparently it’s the best in Cardiff Bay, and when I looked at the menu, I was very excited by the amount of veggie options. But after spending £60 for 2 people, I left totally hungry. The portions are ridiculously small - even for London. If there’s one thing I think makes a good restaurant miss the mark, it’s not giving customers value for money. I guessed what I was in for when they first served two halves of one inari as the inari order - very sad as this is one of my go-to favourites. The sweet potato was extremely good, but I didn’t realise it

Food Lover★★★

(Based on two visits; good casual spot for quick Japanese cravings, but falls short on authenticity, value, and consistency.) Location & Atmosphere • Prime spot in the heart of Mermaid Quay – vibrant, waterfront vibe. • Low-lit, open-plan kitchen creates an intimate feel. • Staff give a warm, friendly welcome on arrival. Food Highlights Hits: • Rainbow & Dragon Maki Rolls – Tasty, well-executed, and the standout items. Tasted fresh and balanced flavors. Misses: • Beef Kare Raisu – Sauce lacked depth and sweetness; underwhelming for the price being the most expensive curry on the me

Beautiful restaurant with stunning food. Will100% come here again. The staff are friendly but do not pester you when you have a mouth full of food. Overall an outstanding meal.
