I called in for lunch on a Saturday and had the minestrone; it was delicious...the best I've ever had. This was filling but managed to squeeze in one of the home made desserts. I was spoilt for choice but decided on a traditional Sicilian 'cake', Iris, made to the owner's family recipe, which was fantastic. The staff were great and very welcoming. This is a gem of a cafe for those who want to experience genuine, home made Sicilian food. I would highly recommend.

I came here today to have an annual Christmas get together with my best friend and goddaughter. I’d never been before but had read the good reviews and we were not disappointed. The minestrone soup and bread were absolutely delicious and my friend and I both got the beef sandwich which was very tender and flavoursome. My goddaughter ordered a pasta dish, however didn’t realise it would be spicy and without hesitation the owner and chef came over and organised a replacement dish for her. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful! The cafe is very cosy and the decor is fun. But the music was a little loud and the tall chairs weren't the most comfortable, partly because they were very close together with no back rest separating the 2 tables.
