I have just witness one of the staff being extra kind customers in need, offering support and going out of his way. As much as this sound ambiguous, we need more places like that. I've never met a friendlier, more helpful, or more approachable team in a coffee shop than the one at Chelmsford Station. I don’t know their names, but there’s a man with dark hair – I think he might be the manager – who is so friendly. He remembers your order after seeing you just once, always makes an effort to say hello, and the whole team are quick and welcoming too. I never write reviews but I felt compelled today to do so. So this is a costa pronto, it is quick as the name suggests. They only serve you in takeaway cups and the food has a more limited selection than other costas. I asked for soya hot chocolate with cream. Without asking they gave me soya hot chocolate with vegan whip. I hate the vegan whip, I had to remove it then go back in for a tissue. I suggested to the staff that they dont always assume an order for a dairy alternative wants vegan whip, they should ask. I like the taste of soya or oat milk in hot chocolate, I want normal cream though. Very unhappy.
