Radid Khan★★Place was frankly really overrated. Staff were very friendly, no issues there. Place was nearly empty so our orders were taken quickly and we got the food really quick too. Ordered the takoyaki, karaage bento, prawn tempura udon, and prawn skewers. The prawn skewers were horrendously portioned. Absolute scam. I paid £6 for the prawn skewers. I knew there were only two skewers but my goodness it was pathetic. Two tiny pieces of prawn on each skewer as you can see in the picture. How scammy do you need to be to pull this stunt? Bento was alright. The rice to protein ratio was eh, but fine. T

Eric Wooley★★★★★Honestly, was not expecting to find great Japanese food in Chester, but here we are. And it was all pretty affordable! Walked in on a Sunday evening and had no trouble getting a seat.

The ramen had a rich and well-balanced broth, perfect to enjoy slowly. The gyozas were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the tuna nigiri were fresh and nicely presented. I also tried the Japanese cheesecake for dessert — light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, a perfect way to finish the meal. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly and attentive, which really adds to the overall experience. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’
