Lovely staff but the chips were awful, they use packet chips and fry them, pretty dry and not at all real chippy chips. Tea was stained as if it had been reconstituted over night. Wont go again.

Awesome chippy! Been a few years since I last visited and still very much the same. Traditional style eat-in fish and chips, or takeaway. Majority of food is cooked to order, so fresh and on the spot, served hot and delicious. Prices are reasonable and located short walk off the town centre, and temptingly in reach of the town's bus station. Out of hours there is free on street parking. Well worth a chip supper.
