A neighbour took me to this little Italian place called Tarantella and it totally blew my mind! It’s a small restaurant in Chiswick – I’m usually only into modern, stylish interiors, but even I have to say this cosy little spot is spotless, warm, and really comfortable. The real star, though, is the food: everything is properly done, authentic Italian. Wonderful last minute decision to try out this snug Italian restaurant. They were busy and we hadn’t booked, thankfully we were able to get a seat. There is seating at the first and more upstairs. It was beautifully decorated with unique artwork. The staff were friendly with fast service. The orecchiette con ragu di braciole main was especially delicious. The carbonara was alright, different to any other carbonara sauce I had before, the fresh pasta was good. The desserts were incredible! A lovely small Italian restaurant in Chiswick that’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. The Guancia di manzo is a must-order — incredibly tender, rich, and slow-braised to perfection. The risotto ai frutti di mare was creamy, aromatic, and generously filled with seafood, while the tiramisu was light, smooth, and a satisfying classic finish. Outstanding. I visited with my sister, and we had a great experience. The Bruschetta was very tasty, so much so that we even asked about the brand of olive oil they used. The pizzas are delicious. Everything - food, service, atmosphere - was 10/10. Cannot fault it. Would definitely visit here again.
