The Plough is a lovely restaurant with a great range of delicious food and drinks but the attitude of their staff not always friendly. The last time we visited, their choice of serving trays (plates) were very disappointing. We ordered a roast, which was served on a metal tray, yak! The constant tilting and the screeching sounds from the metal tray when slicing into the meat were horrendous. I wondered if they tasted this idea out before introducing it to customers. In the end, we ended up asking for a normal plate but it made the whole experience very unpleasant.

I was surprised to read the mixed reviews about food as the burger and fries I had was brilliant. Pretty standard price for any decent London pub but nicely cooked and a good size with sauces proactively brought to the table. Also a shout out to the lad Harry who served me with a smile on his face - so rare these days and cheered me up. Would definitely return.

10/10 vibes and drinks. I have to give credit to Aaron and his team as they were friendly, welcoming and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was warm and lively, I didn't have anything to eat but the cocktails were amazing. You can tell the whole team genuinely cares about creating a great experience. Lovely spot and will be visiting again.

We threw a surprise party for roughly 35 people at this venue and it was BRILLIANT. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the off set. They do a great job of the entire service! The food was surprisingly brilliant. The steaks and burgers were great!
