Amanda Holland★★★★★Had the tiramisu cake. Wonderfully presented, but needs more coffee in it!!! Coffee was nothing special. The disabled toilets are absolutely woeful. Needs updating. No soap & it smells absolutely revolting in there. Needs a deep clean & air freshener.
Alexandra-Maria Badea★★★★★I discovered this place three years ago and since then I kept coming back weekly and brought all my friends with me. The cafe is a family business so the owner and the staff are always extremely nice and welcoming, the coffee is amazing and the food menu is very diverse, but I must say that their carrot cake is probably the most amazing option you are going to have. If you are in Colchester, I would recommend paying them a visit.
Sarah Mills★★Visited for the first time last weekend, and there won’t be a return visit. While the staff were friendly, service was good, and so was the coffee, the provision for gluten-free was severely lacking. While I asked if they had gluten-free options, I was pointed to the shelves which contained a lot of gluten-containing produce, with supposed gluten-free options on the same shelf and right next to these, with no coverings. This is utterly unsuitable for coeliacs and those who are otherwise wheat allergic, like myself. I was also told there “may” be some GF options at the front in packets (there
Lenny★the staff were quite polite and accomodating, the atmosphere was fine too. Everything else was pretty good. The food was absolutely garbage though, and I cannot make this clear enough for anyone who's thinking of visiting this place, not worth the money. bet dollars to donuts the ingredients are the lowest quality you can source and if the owner tries to get back at me (because they seem like the sort who would) with how great their ingredients are or something (which I wouldn't believe for a second) then that wouldn't say much either because the cook is must be that bad.
