Winston's is a hidden gem. Not prepossessing from the outside, but go through the doors and you'll find a well-run operation, with excellent staff who will serve you good drinks at a fair price. They've got too many TVs for my taste, but I can ignore them - sports fans would no doubt appreciate them. Nothing fancy, but there's no trouble, everyone runs along just fine, and there are usually one or two dogs to appreciate. Local beers, reasonable wine choices.

My go to local since 2007, I cannot rate this pub highly enough. The quality of pint is quite literally award winning; almost annoyingly so - you go out in town and usually end up back here as the pint of Heverlee is that good. Iain the manager is an absolute gem who gives you a big warm welcome and the pub itself feels like a home from home. My love for this pub runs deep..
