Paul Simpson★★★Lovely theatre, helpful and efficient staff, plenty of parking nearby. The downside is the horrendously expensive bar/refreshments. £5.50 for a tiny tub of ice cream is extortionate. The sweets and bar prices also seemed to be completely over the top for such a venue. Excuse the pun but left a bad taste on an otherwise enjoyable visit.

The Theatre is lovely, small in terms of seating capacity and very ornate,great seats front row circle. The lounge . Bar areas are lovely and spacious. Plenty of free nearby parking. Loses a star for me due to the outrageous bar prices…..we are used to paying higher prices as the Regent (Stoke) is expensive, but this theatre was on a par with London Theatre prices (£19 for a pint and a large wine)……unnecessary IMO.

The Lyceum Theatre was lit up in all its glory, as we entered our tickets were scanned and we went to the downstairs bar for a pre show drink. Little high in price as a pint is £7, They do run a pre show meal so it might be worth looking into that, other alternative check out HUNGS noodle bar you can sit in and have a really nice meal for £10. 15 mins before curtain up we went through to find our seats we were towards the b
