Popped into Time and Plaice for a quick bite and was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. We ordered a few drinks and their classic fish and chips — and honestly, it’s one of the best I’ve had locally. The batter was light and crispy, the fish beautifully fresh and flaky, and the chips were proper thick-cut and golden. Everything was cooked spot on. Fish and chip/pie shop (with Nepalese options) with big seating area behind the counter, just beyond the Mick Jagger Statue, Friendly efficient service. Good value varied menu, very child friendly. I had vegetable chow mein very nice, made worth spaghetti rather than noodles. Really nice but I do prefer traditional. Soft drinks and alcohol. Not keen on their instant coffee, but my fault I didn't check. Will visit again.

I had a great experience at Time and Plaice in Dartford. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. The food was clearly fresh and cooked perfectly.
