This is a lovely independent Steakhouse near the centre of Derby. A nice welcome as we arrived and a nice dining area. We both ordered the 24oz Mega Rump which came with salad and chips and the steak was nearly as big as the plate. Cooked perfectly to Medium Rare it was lovely, along with a tower of home made onion rings, although i would recommend they put them in a basket as the bottom ones were damp with oil by the time we got to them. Other than that, a superb meal. Thank you.

Been to Emily’s a few times but this was the first time for a while. Must say Emily is an excellent host and makes you feel super welcome. I went for the 32oz for £40 because I was feeling hungry. Came out cooked to perfection and was delicious. If you’re going to tackle something that size though you probably need a couple of sauces. That’s my only qualm really the sauce portions are a bit small, but they make up for that in taste non the less. Parking at Abbey street carpet is a couple of quid 50 for 2 hours and it doesn’t take card but does you can pay on MiPermit

Fantastic night at Emily's, ordered a 16oz Ribeye, advised how I wanted it cooked and it came out just perfect. It isn't the prettiest place, but the food, service, attention to detail was impeccable. Definitely worth a visit, I know I shall be back.

Beautiful little steakhouse. Great customer service, always checking in on you and making you feel welcome, comfortable and content. The food makes the experience even better. The steak is good quality and cooked beautifully. The chips are mouthwatering and the onion ring stack, wow. Home made and just right. Although not everyone's cup of tea as, you can't please everyone. But I highly rate this place and we can't wait to go back.
