So I’m a big sandwich girly, and I can’t say there’s a lot of good sandwich places in Donny. I tried this place for the first time a couple years back and I was hooked already, I always get a falafel and halloumi original sandwich. It’s always been 10/10. But they’ve just upgraded their sauces to the next level. Mate. A FANTASTIC cheese sauce, perfect consistency. But the chilli sauces? Omg. They’ve got the perfect flavour profile, perfect mixture of spice, acidity and even a touch of mint! That little touch of mint takes it to the next level for me. Horrific. Ordered 30+ times from this restaurant. Gradually been getting worse from when they opened and cooked, clean, fresh doner. What they sent this time was a disgrace. Cheap meat made even worse by the awful shop bought squeeze bottled chilli sauce. OD used to take pride in homemade sauces that were full of flavour. Instead now content to serve squeeze bottled chilli sauce. So disappointing. Doner meat was cold, anemic and clearly not the quality they first opened with or advertise on their website.

I used to be a regular customer, and although I could sometimes overlook the long delivery times, today I placed my last order. I waited for my food for over two hours, and it arrived cold. I asked the driver if the restaurant was busy and had many orders, and he said no. If I wanted to order food that I’d have to reheat in the microwave, I would’ve bought a meal deal from Tesco for £10 instead of kebabs for £56.
