Booked a table for 13 people at Slug & Lettuce for a 30th birthday celebration early afternoon. Some guests had travelled over 3 hours to attend. The venue was informed well in advance that a member of our party would be bringing their child and checked if this would be ok - booking was accepted without issue. Over half of our party was having the alcohol-free brunch. On arrival, we were refused service for the entire group because of the infant, after being given the inital welcome drink and assuming nothing was amiss. We visited Slug & Lettuce in Doncaster today for a team brunch and had an absolutely brilliant time! 🎉 The atmosphere was spot on – lively but not too loud, with music at just the right volume to enjoy great conversations. The drinks were delicious (and beautifully presented!), and the food hit the spot – fresh, tasty, and well portioned.
