I had the full English breakfast at Chaplins and honestly, it was absolutely amazing. Everything on the plate was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. What surprised me the most is that I don’t usually like beans, tomatoes, or even bacon that much—but here, I genuinely enjoyed every single bite. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and you could tell a lot of care went into preparing the meal. It was hearty, satisfying, and just incredibly delicious from start to finish. I’d highly recommend it—definitely don’t miss out if you’re thinking of going. I’ll 100% be coming back again

Had the cauliflower soup with hot panini Brie with ham. Both were excellent. Staff was very nice. Wish I could sooner because most people were still having breakfast which also looked excellent. Only 8 tables 26 seats.

What a delightful little cafe! The staff are welcoming and friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable and the food is delicious. We had one English breakfast and one vegetarian breakfast. The veggie sausages were amazing! There are lots of little Chaplin figures displayed inside. This will be our go to place to stop for something to eat next time we are in Dover ❤️

Small restaurant, I would advise booking but walk ins are welcome. I always have the nut roast from the menu which I think is the only vegetarian option. The food is delicious, cooked to order. Staff friendly and will stop if you want to chat when they aren't busy. Very clean and tables cleared quickly
